Over 100 Heart Patients Refer to Emergency Centers in 24 Hours
The statistics show that cardiovascular diseases are the main cause of fatalities in Tehran.
The medical workers of Tehran's Emergency Centers have performed 300 assignments during this period, in which over 80 patients have been received at hospitals, and various other medical centers.
Based on this report, 103 heart patients, 33 patients with breathing problems, and 49 patients injured in accidents have received medical help after consulting with the resident doctor.
In addition, emergency medical advice services were provided in 762 cases out of the 9,143 phone calls received at the 115' Medical Emergency Advice Phone Center. Based on this, some of the calls received at the center were due to patients being poisoned because of improperly using their medicine, or trying to get medicine related information.
